Bringing Dowerin Downtown 2024 was a phenomenal event raising the profile of WA agriculture. Growers, agribusinesses, business leaders and government representatives 700 strong, brought together to connect, raise awareness and celebrate the fabric of WA agriculture.
Innovation, market opportunities and challenges facing the ag industry and specifically the Wheatbelt were key panel topics. Corporate land sales for renewable energy and carbon offset, the impact of live sheep export bans, supply chain disruptions, accommodation shortages, machinery automations, local government structures, and the future of WA agriculture and Wheatbelt.
Congratulations to Danielle Green and her Dowerin Field Days team and major event sponsors Euroz Hartleys Group Limited and supporting sponsors, who have made a major contribution to raising the profiles of WA farmers, highlighting the importance of agriculture in our every day lives and bringing attention to key messages:

3. We need to get better at telling our story so the rest of the world can understand the sustainable, renewable and innovative standards we work by.
Discussing the critical importance of improving the lifestyles and daily experiences of regional people was the number one item on our #MintedElevatedLiving agenda. The economic growth of our regions, would not be possible without the important work of our farmers but also the multitude of critical roles community members play in building resources, supporting seasonal efforts, care giving and bringing vital strategic skills and experiences to ag business.
